After our last visit to Alice Mc Donald, we knew she felt lonely. She has been unable to go to school as often because of her collapsed lung. Alice loves Princesses so we decided to hold a princess party for her. To organise this we had to make a run sheet and work out all the things that we needed. We also reflected on our experiences as a group so far.
Girls, I was at this trip and I loved being there. I admire the way you have worked so hard to support the family of Alice Macdonald during the course of her illness.
ReplyDeleteI know Mrs Macdonald has appreciated the fact that she has been able to take a break while you are there. She has also enjoyed the company and variety of activities you have given Alice, as well as the food you baked for the other children's school lunches! That was very thoughtful because having a very sick child can put a lot of strain on the family.
I was so impressed with your organisation. You are certainly using all your transdisciplinary skills.
Keep it up, girls!
Hi girls - just reading back through the blog and I saw the entry about the visit we had from Jane Mahoney - remember she said, "It is also important to have a task list. Stick to your tasks and make sure you know all the necessary jobs." I think if you read back through that post you will (and should be!!!) really impressed at how del you organised this event! Great job!!!
